Due to the fact that currency trade takes place on the interbank market instead of on centralized exchange, there is no available information about the volume of currency transactions. Without volume data no accurate volume indicators can be derived. Usually the existing volume indicators are based on the price alterations. Each tick represents a unit from the value of the indicator. This method is not precise and gives limited information.
